< Back to Mentoring Homepage Endang Rahmat, S.T., Ph.D. Lecturer at Biotechnology Departement, Bina Nusantara University Get to Know Endang Rahmat, S.T., Ph.D. Endang Rahmat, S.T., Ph.D. is an academic and practitioner at the university. Currently, he gives lectures at the Biotechnology Department of Binus University. His research interests are the exploration and production of natural products, particularly secondary metabolites from plants and microbes, for various applications such as drugs, functional foods, cosmetics, and many more. He integrated disciplines like tissue culture, gene editing, omics, and any kind of metabolic analysis, to cultivate and produce natural products from upstream to downstream. He is an alumnus of the Bioengineering bachelor's degree program at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and holds a PhD from the University of Science and Technology (UST), South Korea, with a focus on plant and microbe biotechnology.
