Santi is a visionary health professional at the intersection of pharmacy, entrepreneurship, academia, and scientific research. As the founder and CEO of PathGen, she leverages her personal journey as a cancer survivor and also an extensive expertise in cancer research to drive the development of accessible healthcare solutions. She is currently also a researcher at the Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute (CRUK SI). With her entrepreneurial spirit and scientific acumen, she is focusing on underserved communities, particularly in resource-limited countries like Indonesia to bridge the gap between research and real-world impact. Under Santi's leadership, by establishing extensive collaborations with various healthcare institutions in Indonesia including the Dharmais National Cancer Center, prominent medical schools, and their affiliated teaching hospitals, PathGen has launched BioColomelt-DX, an affordable PCR-based diagnostic kit to stratify patient on familial risk and give an information for personalized medicine. Santi's holistic approach to patient care and relentless pursuit of affordable solutions intrigue her commitment to improve health outcomes and democratizing equity in healthcare. She continues to lead PathGen towards creating a longlasting impact on global health, ensuring that scientific-based healthcare solutions are accessible, especially in lower-middle income country.
